I came up against this problem a few days ago, and thought I would share my solution for getting my contact list out of AOL (Yuck!) to GMail (Yay!).

If you don’t already have Thunderbird installed (it is a great email client, so you should), you can download Thunderbird here.

1)in AOL Communicator, export your contacts in AOL’s ldif format file.
2)in Thunderbird, import your contacts in text format.
3)in Thunderbird, export your contacts in csv format.
4)in Gmail, import your contacts in csv format.

And you are done!

There are now so many sites out there purporting to offer the cheapest flights, that it is hard to decide which one to go to. Meta-search was meant to make this easier, but now you spend your time going from one meta-search site to another (and then still check against the airline’s website).

I have an upcoming conference in london to go to, so I thought I would hunt around & see if I could pick up a bargain. I checked several sites, but found that iwantthatflight.com.au was the best for cheap flights to london. Leaving from Sydney, they had return flights starting from $1362!

On the domestic front, I found that cheapdealflights.com.au was great for cheap flights within Australia. They allow you to search for flights that are currently available, as well as view the availability of other flights that have been found by visitors on other days (if you have flexible dates, this can save you a lot of money!).

69/365 - this coule have been a love story had he not looked the wrong way...
